Danielle Weber - Aged Care Nutritionist

Danielle Weber is a qualified dietitian (BSc, Grad Dip Dietetics) with over 15 years experience in both community and clinical settings. Danielle is passionate about the health and well being of older people and has worked extensively with many Aged Care organisations, Home and Community Care (HACC) services and for the NSW Meals on Wheels Association.

Danielle is also an experienced health promotion practitioner and has worked with a variety of groups in both the Health and Community sectors to coordinate nutrition projects, conduct research and organise health promotion campaigns. Currently, she is undertaking a Masters in Public Health at the University of Sydney.
       
Danielle is a member of the Committee of Nutrition for Older Australians and has contributed  to several aged care publications including DADHC's monthly Senior's E-Newsletter, INSite and the Australian Ageing Agenda ( formerly National Healthcare Journal)
Danielle draws her inspiration from the fabulous older people around her, particularly her grandfather who travelled abroad until he was 89, learnt how to cook in his late 70s and claimed his secret to long life was his nightly bowl of icecream and nuts.
