Emma Hamilton - Founder

Emma Hamilton is the Founder and Content Director of AgedCarer.com.au, a website that's been established to help Australians care for their ageing families by providing easy access to a wide range of aged care information, community support, products and services. AgedCarer.com.au is also the first website in Australia where carers and families can come together to form online social networks based around aged care topics and the needs of the older people they're caring for.

Val Nigol - Financial Planning Specialist

Val Nigol (MBA FCA AFPA) commenced his career in 1981 as a Chartered Accountant. In 1999 he was awarded the Master of Business Administration degree. In 2005 he became accredited as a Chartered Accountant - Financial Planning Specialist, in 2010 he became a Fellow of the Institute, and in 2007 he became an Associate of the Financial Planning Association.

 

Rik Dawson - Gerontological Physiotherapist

Rik completed his B.App.Sc (physiotherapy) at Sydney University in 1993. He is active in the Australian Physiotherapy Association Gerontology Special Interest Group and has undertaken further study in the area of Gerontological Physiotherapy.

Nicola Gates - Clinical Neuropsychologist

Nicola is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who specialises in brain health and reducing the risk of dementia in ageing people. She runs her own practice in Sydney through A Brain For Life.

Murray Lloyd - Consultant Physician (Retired)

Murray Lloyd, MBBS, FRACP practised as a Consultant Physician in Extended Care for 40 years, passing through the fields of Cardiology, Rehabilitation, Palliative Care and, finally, Aged Care. He has created programmes for teaching communication to staff throughout his career and, in retirement since 2001, has particularly focussed on the spiritual needs of older people and how they can be met with the use of communication skills used by the whole professional team.

Jacqui Manning - Psychologist

Jacqui Manning is the Co-Director of Mind Advantage and runs the Centre for Positive Change in Balmain, Sydney. She is a psychologist and specialises in teaching people how to alleviate stress and anxiety to create more positive energy in their lives. She regularly appears in the media following her passion to educate the public of the value of paying attention to their emotional health at all times and in particular in times of stress.

Danielle Weber - Aged Care Nutritionist

Danielle Weber is a qualified dietitian (BSc, Grad Dip Dietetics) with over 15 years experience in both community and clinical settings. Danielle is passionate about the health and well being of older people and has worked extensively with many Aged Care organisations, Home and Community Care (HACC) services and for the NSW Meals on Wheels Association.

Sharon Wall - Dementia Care Expert

Sharon is a Registered General Nurse, a Registered Geriatric Nurse, has a Diploma of Nursing Education, a Diploma of Counselling, a Degree in Health Sciences and a Masters of Public Health. She has a long and respected history working in aged care for over 30 years, specifically in the area of dementia and dementia care, and is the founder of Ageing By Caring.
