Diabetes Australia is the national peak body for diabetes in Australia providing a single, powerful, collective voice for people living with diabetes, their families and carers.
Diabetes Australia works in partnership with diabetes health professionals, educators and researchers to minimise the impact of diabetes on the Australian community.
Diabetes Australia is committed to turning diabetes around through awareness, prevention, detection, management and a cure.
Diabetes Australia also manages the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) on behalf of the Australian government. This program allows people who are registered with the NDSS to access subsidised diabetes products.
Carers of people with diabetes can access support by calling the Diabetes Infoline on 1300 136 588.
