Vitamin D helps reduce falls in nursing home residents

Residents of nursing homes are far more likely to suffer from falls. According to a new Cochrane Review giving older people vitamin D can help reduce the rate of falls. Preventing falls in nursing homes can be difficult as falls are usually related to a number of factors.
