Physical activity keeps older women healthier for longer

A study published in The Archives of Internal Medicine looked at physical activity and older women. Women at age 60 who engaged in physical activity such as walking were more likely to be healthier at 70 years. Exercising in midlife could help reduce the incidence of chronic disease and improve our health as we get older.
