Alzheimer's changes in brain occur before symptoms

Researchers at UCLA  are using brain imaging techniques to detect early changes in the brain that predict the onset of Alzheimer's disease. Subtle changes in the brain can occur for years before any signs of Alzheimer's disease occur. Early treatment could help slow the progression of dementia.
