Registered Nurse
A registered nurse is a first level nurse educated at university level. Registered nurses are trained to work in a variety of settings. Registered nurses are licensed to practice in the field/s in which they are registered without supervision and assume accountability for all their actions and aspects of care under their supervision.
Resident Agreement
On entering an aged care home a resident and the home
enter into a Resident Agreement. This agreement sets out the conditions of payment, level of care and responsibilites of both the resident and the aged care home.
Resident
People who require care in an aged care home are referred to as residents of that home.
